SummaryGrange Industries is looking for a Compliance Manager to join its team based in Caerphilly, South Wales. Grange Industries is accredited by many independent bodies, including ISO 9001,14001 and shortly 18001, and from this has gained customer approval from a variety of clients throughout the UK.
The role will be mainly office based but may involve the occasional site visit to perform audits as and when required. The principal role will be to manage and maintain the current Quality Management Systems and to aide in its future development.
What we expect from you
Implementing and maintaining the existing Quality Management System, processes and measurements to ensure that Grange Industries operates in a fully compliant way.
Assist with obtaining ISO 18001 accreditation and take responsibility for monitoring all Health & Safety matters for the company.
Develop training schedules for relevant personnel
Planning and conducting internal QMS audits
Being point of contact for all accreditation and audits
Develop and maintain KPI’s in order that the systems can be measured for their effectiveness
Drive process improvement activities
Report back to Management team on management system related issues
Ensure compliance of all staff in line with competency and training requirements
Ensure company compliance with legislation relating to Health, Safety & environmental

Desired Skills & Experience
Experience in Compliance/Quality Assurance, preferably (But not essentially) gained in an electrical engineering environment.
Able to demonstrate knowledge of the latest Quality Standards (ISO, etc), assurances and processes
Have a qualification in Health & Safety
Have experience in working directly with regulators, Certification Bodies and other Standard Organisations
