A Designer with strong User Experience and User Interface skills is required to help develop, design and create fresh new user interface designs and workflows for both new and existing mobile and web applications (digital design projects, creating engaging layouts, content and evolving all sites visually).
Joining a growing team of in-house Developers and Testers, the UX / UI Designer will play a vital role in the development of a bespoke CRM, which is currently being used by internal staff to manage clients' personal and financial information, so that it can be used by external clients.
The UX / UI Designer will work closely with clients, developers and testers with the aim of improving overall usability, in turn creating an excellent and unified user experience across all platforms.
The UX / UI Designer will have worked on a product/service and has helped to bring it to market (or has worked on existing products) by creating user journeys, workflow, content hierarchy, sketches, wire framing, mock-ups, etc. Someone who can demonstrate the ability to create design guidelines and standards, liaising with Marketing.
Essential Skills / Experience
- Experience with mobile first design - any experience with App design would be highly advantageous
- Excellent visual design skills
- A portfolio that illustrates a varied skill set and shows passion for design
- Experience wire framing user flows / journeys and user interface designs
- Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch/Balsamiq
- Familiar with User concepts including User Interface / User Experience / Accessibility & User Testing
Hours of Work
- Hours: 8.30am - 5.30pm with 1 hour for lunch (Mon-Thurs) and 8.30am - 5.00pm with 30 minutes for lunch (Fri)
