The Eastern Western Motor Group, Scotland’s leading, prestige, independent motor retailer is currently recruiting for an experienced Corporate Sales Manager for their purpose built, busy Eastern BMW dealership in Newbridge, Edinburgh.

The main purpose of this role is to maintain existing fleet accounts by providing an high level of service and actively look for new business; organise and structure the Fleet Sales Department to provide customers with an excellent sales service; develop the existing customer base by actively pursuing an appointment programme with new prospects; manage the Fleet Centre to maximise volume and to reduce costs

Key Responsibilities:

•To agree with the General Manager annual targets for volume and gross profit margins.
•To hold weekly meetings with the General Manager to discuss monthly progress against target and operational matters.
•To organise a programme of mail shots and associated activities to create awareness of the range of franchise products and service.
•To keep key accounts up to date with all relevant product information and to keep history files on these accounts.
•To develop a range of contacts with customers, e.g. from Buying Clerks to Managing Director, to ensure the account is protected.
•To develop a close working relationship with franchise Fleet Department to jointly develop new accounts and also seek financial support to help penetrate new accounts.
•To develop a close working relationship with the After Sales Department to guarantee that tight delivery deadlines are met.
•To jointly, with the Fleet Sales Executive(s) and Fleet Sales Administrator ensure that the demo fleet is optimised.
•To arrange regular promotional events for selected customers and prospects.
•To monitor and control Fleet Sales Debtors on a Regular basis to ensure prompt payment.
•Assistance with any other task as directed
