An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a fast paced, dynamic and political environment in which the service review team are tasked with reviewing a broad range of specialised services to ensure high quality care is delivered by the most capable providers on a sustainable basis.

We are looking for a candidate who has a strong analytical background (preferably with a background in health economics) who has experience of procurement/competition law, NHS pricing and contracting. Due to the nature of the role, we are seeking a candidate who can develop strong stakeholder relationships but also someone who has experience of working in sector regulation.

The successful candidate will work closely with the service review programme leads, the finance lead, informatics lead and communications lead, and an economist within the team. There will also be a close relationship with the national programme of care managers, the clinical reference groups and contracting managers within the regions.

As the Head of Service Review Analytics the post holder will work as part of a dynamic team in delivering an effective service supporting managers and staff across the national specialised commissioning team.
