Scope and general purpose of the role:

To assume responsibility for the daily supervision and organisation of Front of House operations through the Front Desk Team, ensuring the consistent delivery of seamless 5* deluxe hospitality Concierge services to all Residents.

You will successfully supervise the team by going above and beyond in delivering service excellence. You will show strong leadership skills, training. Ownership of front desk operations and administration.

You will report into the general manager.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To perform your duties and provide concierge services, in the prescribed manner, as instructed by the Estate Manager or Property Manager
  • To inspect, on a daily/nightly basis, all internal areas of the private residential buildings and report any defects, security or health and safety concerns to the Estate Manager
  • To set an example for other staff members by being courteous and helpful to all occupiers in addition to members of the public, other staff, guests, and to contractors employed on the estate
  • To enter all relevant comments/details in the concierge log
  • To liaise with the estate security team on all security matters
  • To receive and keep safe registered mail and deliveries for residents
  • To ensure deal with all general telephone enquiries and log messages
  • To ensure the development is a well-managed, safe, clean and secure environment in which to live and work
  • To enter all relevant comments/details in the development logs
  • To have an in depth working knowledge of the development

Health and Safety

  • To ensure that all incidents or accidents are logged accordingly
  • To adopt and implement the procedures directed by the Managing Agent or their Health and Safety Consultant
  • To assist with the annual fire and health and safety risk assessments
  • To ensure CCTV cameras are monitored (where possible) and images saved as necessary

Sustainability

  • To promote sustainability initiatives as directed by the Managing Agent
  • Concierge services
  • To supervise any keys which may be held. To ensure that they are correctly logged in and out in accordance with agreed procedures.
  • To receive and keep safe registered mail and deliveries for residents
  • To manage and facilitation the provision of a dry-cleaning service

Repairs and Maintenance

  • To change all defective light bulbs where appropriate. Where light bulbs are inaccessible they should be logged and reported to the Estate Manager or Property Manager so that appropriate action may be organised
  • Monitor contractors working within the common areas, ensuring they log in /out and take appropriate action to notify residents and protect the communal area

Experience:

  • Experience as a senior/head concierge supervising staff in the residential/5* hotel sectors
  • Knowledge of 5* service expectations
  • Operational knowledge
  • Strong management skills
  • Exceptional personal presentation and spoken English
  • An accommodating demeanour

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, occasional weekends
