A super opportunity for a candidate that has limited experience, this role will offer full support and training in all areas.
The key is to ensure that you have your own transport and drive as the client is located in a beautiful countryside setting but not accessible via public transport at all.
There is a possibility for the successful candidate to be picked up in the Haywards Heath area on a short-term basis.
It's a permanent full-time position for as a Junior Technician to fulfil a role with 3 main aspects: -
Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Technician;
Information and Communications (ICT) Technician;
Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) [drone] Pilot.
The first two aspects will be office based at their offices, the third will involve working nationwide in connection with aerial surveying activities.
This role would suit a person who may have in the last couple of years completed their education and are now seeking a career in a small business who use state of the systems.
Our client provides aerial survey, aerial photography, inspection and mapping work as well as producing very complex models.
You would take an active part in project work and management of the company's ICT equipment.
An exciting opportunity will be to gain full accreditation as a UAV pilot and it is expected that the candidate will attend external part-time courses in order to gain further formal qualifications. All fees and expenses in respect of training will be paid by the company.
A large part of the role will be working with data and using state-of-the-art computer programs and involves the computer modelling of drainage and river systems and in particular flooding in urban areas.
