To support marketing and customer communication activities within the Wex/Calumet/Fixation, and ensuring complete alignment of marketing and customer communications across all channels.

Primary Objectives

  • Help build the roadmap based on analytics, store and customer feedback to provide an integrated, cross-channel Shopping experience connecting customers with their favourite stores

  • Contribute to the development of the overall marketing strategy and optimised approaches to drive visitor numbers and ultimately sales across the retail estate

  • Ensure production and timely distribution of Point of Sale material to all Wex/Calumet/Fixation Stores.

  • Communicate with Store Managers about important campaigns, new product launches and policies, ensuring a singular message is shared across all channels.

  • Manage requests from Stores and support their individual marketing and communications requirements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Collect briefs from Branch Managers and brief the design team on developing marketing collateral, including Point of Sale, flyers, event literature, promotions etc.

  • Create 'pop sheets’ and campaign collateral for major launches or campaigns

  • Act as liaison with Branch Managers to support local initiatives.

  • Support the Customer Development Manager to deliver initiatives for improving customer long-term value, with the objective of adding value to the offer from the retail estate.

  • Reviewing branch performance & providing analysis to the wider team with suggested action plans for improved performance

  • Feed into the annual brand plan, attend and present at branch meetings

Scope of the Role

  • There will be one role of this description in the Company

  • The role will report to the Customer Development Manager

  • The role will support retail and consumer sales at all Stores in the Wex/Calumet/Fixation estate.

Key Relationships

The role will have interactions with all departments in the Company. Most contacts will be with the Design Team, Branch Managers, Email Marketing, print and design agencies, and Finance.

Experience and Qualifications

  • A marketing qualification or previous experience of retail marketing is required.

  • Strong project management skills must include Excel

  • Stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills

  • Be proactive, creative and have strong attention to detail

  • Have proven experience of meeting deadlines and goals and be a strong team player whilst still achieving set objectives
