Are you an Outsourcing Assistant or Accounts Assistant with experience working in the Business Services or Outsourcing department of a good quality practice firm? Or do currently work for a smaller practice firm in an accounts based role and are looking to gain more experience in preparing statutory accounts, management accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns? Are you also looking to upgrade to an international Top 30 firm to get a large firm name of your CV? If so, this rapidly growing accountancy practice firm in a prime location in the City, is looking to recruit a new member of staff due to impressive recent growth. Your role will be varied, and will include the preparation of management accounts and statutory accounts for clients, analysis, report writing, general bookkeeping duties (sales and purchase ledger, bank reconciliations etc) and Vat returns. Your client base will be varied and include an impressive array of large listed and international businesses, as well as rapidly growing SME clients. Client industries will include financial services, media & entertainment, retail, professional services, technology and property.
To be considered for this new role you will currently be an Accounts Assistant or Outsourcing Assistant with at least 12 months of experience working in a good quality practice firm. It is vital you are at either AAT level 3 or level 4, and be looking to take your ACCA once AAT qualified. Your current role must include the above duties, including the preparation of accounts, bookkeeping and VAT returns (training will be provided where required). You will now be looking to upgrade to a busy and rapidly growing Business Services & Outsourcing department of a Top 30 firm, and continue to learn new skills and work with impressive clients to improve your technical knowledge. This role is perfect for someone looking to improve their management accounts, statutory accounts, Vat and Bookkeeping skills. You must have experience of a wide range of software packages including Sageline 50 and it would be beneficial if you had experience of cloud based software such as Xero and Quickbooks online.
