Are you a highly motivated Sales Executive with an Engineering background?

We are recruiting for a rapid response manufacturing company who deliver a high level of customer service providing electromechanical components globally with 118 years of experience. Our client creates solutions by assisting consumers across the UK and the World and can manufacture almost any specification.

As a Sales Executive, you will have the flexibility of working from home, but will be required to work from Avonmouth on some days. You will be in charge of the Thames Valley area (Bristol, Swindon, Plymouth, Reading) and you will be promoting compressed air solution products and services. Our client wants someone who can actively bring in new business from the South West and South Central, but also focusing and developing relationships with existing customer accounts. You will be expected to exceed sales and profitability targets and sharing ideas and liaising with other sales team members and technical experts.

In your daily duties, you will follow HSE guidelines and contractual compliance using your engineering technical knowledge to a high level using selling techniques and providing fantastic customer service. You will work with internal and external departments and suppliers to ensure the sales process runs smoothly.

The requirements are: -

*A Level Maths and English or a similar qualification
*Familiar with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
*Evaluate and produce data
*Sales 'Hunter' mentality
*Experience in selling industrial equipment and service contracts

The perfect candidate will have fantastic communication skills, verbal and written; they will be able to present to and engage existing /potential customers. They will knowledge of different clients in the Automotive, Pharmaceutical, manufacturing, Food and beverage and general Engineering business sectors which will help with negotiating and closing deals. Having a willingness to learn new skills and to be able to actively encourage team members to create a 'togetherness' dynamic to achieve results is key. They will have to be skilled in managing quotation records and use sales information effectively whilst being able to sell products and service contracts to new and existing customers.
