If you are an ambitious Accounts Clerk at the start of your career this is the ideal opportunity for you. This is a small Company and you will be involved in all aspects if the accounts preparation.
Some of your duties will include:
- Assisting the Accounts Manager with the day to day management of the accounts function.
- Raising client sales invoices and recording payments received on clients account
- Matching purchase invoices with delivery notes and processing supplier weekly payments
- Chasing overdue client accounts by telephone and email, agreeing repayment schedules
- Checking employee expense claims and reconciling corporate credit card and petty cash expenditure
- Liaising extensively with clients and suppliers, managing any invoice or payment queries that occur
