Michael Page Digital are working in partnership with a global B2B service provider with UK offices in London in recruiting a Front End Sitecore Developer to look after their new global multi region sitecore web rollout, training and day to day updates.

Client Details

Our client is a global B2B service provider with a presence in several hundred countries. Their UK offices are in central London

Description

The business, who previously have been regionalised with different platform websites throughout the world, has just purchased Sitecore as a CMS in the last year in an effort to consolidate each of the sites, and have started by rolling out a new .com site on the platform. Now, they are looking to work with their Sitecore specialist agency to roll out websites across the globe, working hand in hand with their regional teams. As Front End Sitecore Developer, you will report into the digital strategy manager, and your role will have three main parts:

1. Manage inhouse any ad hoc changes to various pages (CTA changes, button movement, content additional etc), with a view to bringing these smaller changes inhouse

2. Work closely with the agency as Sitecore Product Owner as they roll out the new regional sites.

3. Spend 20% of your time travelling the globe training marketing colleagues in different regions on how to use Sitecore themselves to make changes and updates to their regional sites.

Profile

The ideal candidate for the Front End Sitecore Developer role will come from a background working with Sitecore, and will need to have a very solid understanding of the platform, and also basic HTML and CSS in order to make changes. However, their previous job titles could be highly varied - they might have worked as a CMS manager, a front end developer who happens to have worked in Sitecore, or even a digital marketing manager within a smaller business, where their role was heavily angled towards onsite changes.

Job Offer

A salary of between £30000 - £40000 plus bonus, pension, healthcare and various other benefits. This is also a spectacular CV opportunity for someone, since this person will be the most senior specialist for the Content Management System within the business.
