Senior Pharmacy Technician - Ward Distribution
Band: PT3 20-28 (Afc band 6 equivalent)
Salary: £29,132 - £37,754 per annum inclusive of London weighting
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
About the job and the individual
We are looking for a motivated Pharmacy Technician to lead our pharmacy stores and distributions team of ten staff members. You will have proven experience in stock management and ward services and are willing to engage within our three business values "Caring, Inspiring and Pioneering" but also actively focus on helping us to achieve our mission "To be the most trusted hospital".
You will be part of a friendly and dynamic Pharmacy team, consisting of approx. 50 members of staff. You will need to be patient-focused and proactive, and contribute towards providing a high quality pharmacy service to all our patients and staff. This exciting role requires an organised, flexible individual with excellent people managerial skills. You should also be able to work independently and have good judgement to prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.

The Duchess of Devonshire Wing, which was completed and opened in 2010 is located at 22 Devonshire Place. The facility, which is built on eight floors, includes state-of-the-art radiotherapy, chemotherapy suites and 47 dedicated patient bedrooms for haematology & oncology patients.
