Infrastructure Analyst / 3rd Line Support Engineer required to provide support for multiple site office based environment within part of a global organisation. You will: provide and maintain server and storage infrastructure within EMEA; respond to escalated issues, manage infrastructure environments and undertake project work to improve the network and server infrastructure landscape.
As an Infrastructure Analyst / 3rd Line Support Engineer you will work within a small team and manage escalated support issues as they arise. You will plan and deliver infrastructure enhancements across all key business infrastructure and work with the project management team as required. The successful candidate will focus on senior level/escalated issues across AWS; Wintel Server Infrastructure comprising: Windows Server 2008/2012; Cisco UCS / HP Blades; Chef / Puppett; Powershell; Active Directory/Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, WSUS, VMWare ESxi hosts, vSphere, Citrix XenApp and Netscalers, Cisco LAN/WAN data network environment consisting of Cisco routers and switches and the EMC SAN Storage environment.
We are searching for an Senior Support Engineer / Infrastructure Analyst / 3rd Line Support Engineer who has been working in a similar dual BAU support and project delivery role and be comfortable as a point of escalation for the core Wintel technologies Windows Server AD/GPo and virtualised server environments largely based on VMWare. You will be comfortable supporting LAN/WAN data network environments from a server infrastructure perspective including LAN/WAN, Load balancing, MPLS carriage, along with vendor support, as well as EMC SAN Storage and be able to adapt to new technologies. You may have been working for another financial services corporation or similar global organisation with a large, complex array of Wintel technologies, business and data centre focussed services.
A good mix of project and BAU support experience is desirable; excellent organisational and communication skills pre-requsite.
