Technical Support Consultant Client Services & Development IT Software Company City of London A leading independent Software Company based in the City of London are looking for a Technical Support Consultant with working knowledge of Software Systems and Applications. You will be joining the small and creative Client Services Team in what is a fastpace Technology driven organisation. As the Technical Support Consultant, you will be providing 2 nd and 3 rd line support to the Clients wedbased trading systems. You will be liaising with stakeholders at all levels, based in locations globally. You will build relationships to support the global financial customers. Responsibilities; The Technical Support Consultant will be responsible for all the Technology problem solving associated with the Clients WebBased Trading Systems. You will have to review the product code and work alongside the developers to ensure that all problems requiring a software fix are resolved. You will be managing issues efficiently and effectively, using your technical expertise to provide solutions to both a technical and nontechnical audience. You will be expected to maintain and develop lasting relationships, committing to your clients requirements. You will be providing them with a forwardthinking and continuously improving service, using your technical ability. Requirements; The Technical Support Consultant will require a resilient, selfstarter who is confident and engaging to support demanding clients. To successfully fill the demands of this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience: Experience of providing technical support for software systems/applications. At least one programming languages including Java and/or .NET experience Educated to Degree level (2:1 or above) Ideally Computer Science/ Software Engineering etc. Experience of dealing with stakeholders at all levels Excellent communication skills Practical experience of Linux, Tomcat, Weblogic, Sybase (Desirable) This team is a supportive and dynamic team and you will be given many opportunities to progress your career in many different ways.
