Our client a national Crane / Lifting company are currently looking for Lifting / Crane Engineers for Bristol / Newport & Gloucester areas. The company offer excellent working environments and scope to progress throughout the company.
Main Job Objectives:

*The provision of professional service for lifting and handling equipment.

Specific Responsibilities:
*Service, repair, installation, commissioning and testing of lifting and handling equipment.
*On-call response in accordance with the appropriate published roster.
*Compliance to the requirements of the company policies and work instructions.
*Attend training courses as the job requires.
*Adhere to safe working practices at all times.

General Responsibilities:
*Ensure Company policies and procedures are adhered to as defined in the Integrated Management Systems documentation and statutory requirements.
*Timely completion of activity reporting documentation i.e. time sheets and expense reports.
*Accurate and descriptive problem reporting.
*Completion of inspection and examination documentation as appropriate.
*Understand and uphold the company values at all times.
*Any other duties from time to time as reasonably requested by your Manager.

Health, Safety and Environment

*Adhere to all Company Policies, Work Instructions and Road Maps.
*Follow the guidelines for "Job Pause", implementing them whenever an uncontrolled risk is identified.
*Report all Accidents/Incidents and Near Miss situations immediately.
*Actively participate in team meetings and participate in solving problems.
*Support Team Members with improvements, suggestions or safer working practices.

Preferred Qualifications/Experience:
*ONC in electrical or mechanical engineering.
*Proven competency to install, inspect, and maintain lifting equipment in accordance with relevant operating/installation instructions and the requirements of the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER).
*Knowledge and experience of working safely at height.

In return the company will offer a salary of 28k - 33k with excellent benefits and overtime available,
