A leading global automotive supplier have partnered with Zachary Daniels Recruitment Group to find an Account Manager to join the business in the East of Scotland. This vacancy has arisen through retirement and the area is well developed, so will need a great Account Manager to take over relationships.
We are interested in speaking to people with a business-to-business sales foundation who are looking for the development and career opportunities offered by a prestigious organisation. We are open on background although knowledge of the automotive or transportation industries will be an advantage. Whilst excellent training is provided the role can sometimes be quite technical.
You should be educated to at least A'level standard (or equivalent) with excellent communication and numeracy skills, be a team player and possess a strong customer focus. The ability to develop long term relationships and to achieve goals is essential. You will be self-motivated, and demonstrate maturity, with a proven ability to work remotely.
If successful you will undergo a comprehensive training course to ensure professional standards are maintained. Once you complete the course your responsibility will be to implement the defined commercial policy and to take responsibility for managing and developing a portfolio of customers. This post will cover Eastern Scotland and the ideal home base will be around Dundee. You must live on patch or be prepared to relocate.
