Digital Marketing Executive - Guildford

£20,000 - £25,000

Essential Functions (key accountabilities):

Product Marketing

  • Work closely with Product Marketing to gain clear understanding of product roadmap and launch plans
  • Assist as necessary with creation of marketing collateral to support product launch plans; spec sheets, descriptions, web pages, newsletters, blog posts…

Customer Service

  • Respond to Customer Service enquiries, meeting key speed deliverables…e-mail within 72 hours, social media within 24 hours
  • Respond to online claims and process replacements as necessary
  • Login and respond to live chat daily
  • Monitor and reply to TrustPilot reviews

Digital (Web and email) Marketing

  • Create web marketing plan each month and liaise with web marketing agencies to deliver on the plan
  • Manage full spectrum of social media accounts - daily Twitter posts, regular Instagram posts and Facebook posts as appropriate
  • Manage website blog and youtube to ensure relevant content is produced and posted
  • Gain clear understanding of the tools of the trade in SEO, PPC and Retargeting to manage agencies and/or freelancers to deliver growth of traffic to the site for sales
  • Work with digital marketing agency to maintain knowledge base on keywords and other drivers for effective PPC and manage PPC and web investment budgets
  • Produce and distribute customer newsletters

Channel Marketing

  • Work closely with Sales team to gain clear understanding of channel needs and opportunities
  • Assist as necessary with the creation and development of marketing materials to support products in market
  • Produce and distribute channel newsletters

Person / Experience Required


  • 1+ years’ experience of marketing and/or customer service
  • Familiarity with the smartphone accessory marketplace
  • Excellent software and organisational skills, strong technical ability
  • Internet savvy with solid personal experience of social media platforms
  • Confident and articulate with a willingness to engage directly with customers
  • Creative, with an ability to write strong web content and edit clear marketing materials
  • A stable individual who is good under pressure and can combine enthusiasm with sound commercial judgement
