Reed Education Plymouth are currently working with a great school on an exciting new role for a secondary science teacher, in the Okehampton area. To start in September, the school are looking for an outstanding teacher of science to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

Whether you are an experienced or newly qualified science teacher, specializing in biology, chemistry, physics or a combination, we want to hear from you.

The Role:

• Following the National Curriculum, delivering engaging and inspiring science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• You will have full teaching responsibilities, including, planning, marking and assessment.
• You will benefit from working with an experienced and supportive team, and the students are enthusiastic and keen to learn.
• The school have a well-resourced Science department and have fantastic CPD opportunities to ensure you can develop in all areas as a teacher.

What you will need:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status in Secondary Science – Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
• You should be an excellent classroom teacher with the ability to plan, prepare and teach creative and stimulating lessons.
• Passion for your subject and the motivation and commitment to engage your students in their learning.
• Ability to create a supportive and well-ordered learning environment.
