Route to Market Account Manager -Danone Waters UK

Full Time, Permanent

Salary: £27,000 to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience) + up to 10% bonus opportunity + company car

Working: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Territory: National

You will be working for REL Field Marketing to fulfil the role of RTM Account Manager on our Danone Waters UK team (DWUK). You would be employed by REL but managed directly by Danone (reporting to C&C Sector Manager). This role is covering the day to day relationship and account development with Wholesale / Cash & Carry accounts, with the main objective to drive profitable growth through strong business relationships.

You will be responsible for:

Driving profitable, long term market outperformance with Wholesale / Cash & Carry customers.
Trial new products to drive high visibility in a small store environment.
Supporting the delivery of the DWUK Category Vision and Roadmap.
Managing the sales relationship with existing key Route to Market accounts.
Develop annual plan for customers which support the wider channel vision.
Negotiating aggressively while maintaining a positive day to day delivery.
Gain loyalty of indirect customers on behalf of direct customers.
Sell the benefits of increased space to deliver current and future portfolio.

You will have:

2 years FMCG experience (preferably including Soft Drinks)
Excellent communicator and presenter
Ability to influence and excite using selling platforms
Confident in handling objections and challenge
Working knowledge of a P&L (Profit and Loss) - ability to recognise the impact of initiatives and decisions
Graduate Calibre
Ability to work on own initiative and to pro-actively strive to improve ways of working
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
Passionate about learning
Proven track record with good influencing skills
Strong command of the English language - written and spoken
