An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a leading national health charity as a Community Fundraiser. The main purpose of the role is build and develop relationships within the community through efficient stewardship and support of fundraising groups and volunteers. You will additionally identify and research and form new fundraising groups through organising community days and meeting potential volunteers face to face. You will also build relationships with local media to gain positive coverage for the charity. You will work towards annual targets and ensure that all financial records are kept up to date.
To be successful in this role you will have experience of recruiting and managing volunteers and fundraising groups. You will a good track record in raising funds within community on a paid/voluntary basis or within a related discipline such as marketing or sales. Finally, you will be able to demonstrate how you can provide good stewardship to supporters.
You will receive a salary of up to £31,000 depending on experience, 25 days annual leave and group pension scheme enrolment
