Person Specification for SEN Learning Support Mentor

The school are looking for a nurturing Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant who has a second-class degree at the very least and experience supporting SEN children. This role is open to a graduates who has a genuine interest in the overall development of their students and creative in their approach to learning.

About the SEN Learning Support Mentor

Being a SEN Learning Support Mentor involves working on a 1:1 basis with individual pupils, establishing yourself as a role model to them as you mentor them through their school experience. As an SEN Learning Support Mentor you will be focussing on supporting the teacher in a class with no more than 9 pupils, part of your role will see you teaching booster lessons to smaller groups who need additional support
