Summary

Position - Expanding consultancy based in London are looking for a Building Surveyor

Role - Mainly commercial Sector - both project and Professional work

Person - MSc/BSc - At least 6 months experience in Private firm/consultancy

A rapidly expanding property consultancy with offices throughout the UK are seeking a Building surveyor to join their team. Offering bespoke services to their clients, this company have over 60 years' experience in planning and consultancy throughout England and Scotland.

This role will include many of the core building surveyor disciplines with a focus on both professional and project matters including specification writing, dilapidations and contract administration.

The Role

The successful Building Surveyor will join a dynamic team and will report to the Head of Building Surveying. Responsibilities will include:

  • Dilapidations
  • Specification writing
  • Building surveys
  • Defect diagnosis
  • Schedules of condition
  • Contract administration

The Successful Building Surveyor

The consultancy is seeking a graduate or a building surveyor with at least 6 months experience in a building surveying role, working for a consultancy/private practice. The successful building surveyor must have a well-rounded knowledge of building surveying matters (both professional and project) and must be committed to their own personal development as well as the development of the business.

  • Have, or be working towards MRICS chartership
  • 6 + months private practice/consultancy building surveying experience
  • Be proficient in the use of IT, including AutoCAD
  • Committed to career progression
  • Full, clean driving license
