Legal Technology Support Assistant
£22,000 - £24,000

Our client is a rapidly growing audio transcription/court reporting company offering exceptional service quality at the forefront of everything they do. They are now seeking a full-time Tech Support Assistant to join the team during this exciting time and provide flawless support to their clientele.


HOURS: Rotating shift pattern - 9:00am to 5:00pm, 10.30am to 6.30pm and 2:00pm to 10:00pm

- Hands-on litigation technology support including the management of electronic documentation
- Prompt and accurate recording of task information for billing
- Liaising directly, via telephone and email, with solicitors and barristers, advising on best practices and assisting with technical queries
- Uploading and organising material in accordance with client instruction
- Processing exports and printing requests, assisting with the quality control process and delivery of hard copy trial bundles
- Advanced understanding and technical knowledge of Magnum including the manipulation of CSV files to import and export data, reformatting and converting as necessary
- Assisting with the training of new team members on all aspects of the Magnum platform and internal processes
- Troubleshooting client-reported issues and liaising as necessary with Software Engineering until a resolution is reached
- Capturing client feedback to recommend and advocate for product enhancements


- Computer science or legal degree is desirable but not essential
- Previous experience working in a professional, client-facing role in a similar industry
- Able to learn new skills and use own initiative
- Ability to work individually and within a team
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to juggle tasks and work under pressure
- Outstanding communication skills both written and verbal and a confident telephone manner
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- An interest in technology, processes and systems
- Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
- Must be able to participate in the rotating (weekly) shift arrangement from 9:00am to 5:00pm, 10.30am to 6.30pm and 2:00pm to 10:00pm with a flexible attitude to meet the needs of the business and clients
- Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems is desirable
- Bright and engaging
