Position: Case Administrator (Claims Environment)

Salary: £17,000 - £19,000 per annum

Location: Edinburgh

HR Consultancy are recruiting for a professional, hardworking Claims Administrator to join a busy Claims team based in Edinburgh City Centre.

The ideal candidate will have studied Legal Studies or Insurance, or you will have a proven track record form working within a claims environment firm. Administration experience within a similar environment is essential for this role.

This is a busy role working in a challenging, high volume claims environment. You will have first class organisational skills coupled with excellent communication skills. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Dealing within inbound calls from clients, customers and third parties
  • Establishing requirements and obtaining statements for each case
  • Uploading new cases to the Case Management System
  • Loading new instructions
  • Liaising with claimants and third parties following the new cases administration
  • Copy Typing documents and filing documents
  • Managing case diaries, working to tight deadlines
  • Closing cases.

Experience gained in a legal or claims experience is a distinct advantage. Administration experience, ideally from a claims / insurance environment is essential.
