This large company close to Canary Wharf is looking for a TEAM LEADER in Case Administration Services (CAS)
The ideal candidate will lead the team providing incoming and outgoing document management, ensuring agreed service levels and quality targets are met.
As a key member is the Business Support Services department, duties will be to:
Supervise the day to day work of CAS Legal Administrators and Legal Secretarial team.
Ensure the Legal support team provide high quality service to Solicitors in line with service level agreements, identifying and highlighting best practice, and sharing this with team members.
Providing feedback to team members on team and individual performance to ensure individuals understand what is required and are performing to acceptable standards.
To be the first point of contact for the In House Legal team, for CAS Administration activities
Reassigning team members activities in response to workload demands
To maintain an overview of team activities and an understanding of the impact of fluctuating workflows through collection and manipulation of statistical information, in conjunction with Business Analytics.
Responsible for all matters to do with BigHand including upgrades and training.
Recruitment and selection of staff as necessary
Conducting performance reviews for team members
Managing absence and ensuring appropriate HR procedures are followed
To respond to reported issues .
To ensure that protocols for team activities are consistent and kept up to date.
To ensure the team are made aware of and trained as necessary for any changes to systems and protocols
To liaise with CAS Leadership team to agree development for Case Administration Services
To carry out team activities as necessary to ensure targets are met. and represents the CAS Manager as necessary
Qualifications and experience
Familiarity with legal processes and the court procedures.
You will ideally have demonstrable supervisory or management experience in an administration team including delegation and allocation of daily work activities. Previous experience in a legal environment dealing with case management needs of lawyers is required.
Familiarity with MS Office packages
