The Digital Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving quality leads into Royal Mail MarketReach via all digital channels whilst taking ownership of Mailmen.co.uk and MarketReach content on Royalmail.com. Increase MarketReach brand awareness, through designing and implementing a fully integrated digital marketing acquisition strategy, you’ll encourage the reappraisal of mail across digital channels. Building a best in class end-to-end prospect journey to drive quality leads into the business you’ll ensure the ‘case for mail’ is highlighted across digital assets whilst embedding and implementing new technology.
About the role
As a digital marketer you’ll be expected to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of all things digital marketing with a focus on ROI driven marketing strategies.
You’ll be responsible for designing and implementing the annual digital acquisition marketing plan whilst utilising a range of techniques, including paid media, to drive quality leads into the business. Managing online creative and media agencies will be key, as is improving usability, design, content and conversion rates of the websites you will own.
Utilising the CRM platform, to drive quality leads into the business, you’ll also be accountable for first class reporting dashboards which demonstrate the performance of digital channels. Responsible for the management of budgets, forecasts, planning and scheduling activity you’ll also manage the annual social media plan.
A B2B acquisition and retention digital expert you’ll be degree educated (or equivalent), ideally with a Marketing qualification, who keeps abreast of new digital market developments which brings new ideas into the business.
Possessing extensive experience in SEO, PPC, Web, Mobile and Email you’ll have a proven track record of using webs skills, such as CMS and Google analytics, to improve digital performance. Utilising your first-class analytical skills with a data-driven mind set, you’ll fully understand reporting of digital performance through a history of managing and increasing performance of digital agencies. You’ll need to appreciate how mail works alongside digital, enabling companies to revaluate mail in their marketing mix.
