There is an exciting position for a proven Police Staff Investigator, to contribute positively towards their vibrant team in London.

This role is a very varied position, some of your duties will be:

* Investigating existing caseloads
* Investigating and prosecuting a range of intellectual property crime offences
* Professionally engaging with industry stakeholders
* Some travel around England and Wales, staying over night
* Contribute to challenging the public perception of IP crime as low risk
* Working with print and televison media to publicise the activity of the department

The current environment is filled with enthusiastic and motivated individuals. If you are interested in joining their customer focused team you first must:

* Previous experience of working as an Investigator in a large scale serious and organised criminal investigations
* Good organisation skills (keeping up to date accurate records)
* Proven experience of Officer in Case roles during Crown Court trial proceedings
* Experience in disclosure of material procedures (CPIA Act 1996)
* Good working knowledge of standard IT systems (MS office)
* Vetted or willing to be vetted to 'Security Clearance' (SC) level

* Desirable; understanding of cybre crime and/or investigations involving a large amount of digital material
* Desirable; workign with other agencies
* Desirable; working knowledge of the operation of HOLMES
