Functional Assessor Doctor and General Practitioner

Full- time, Permanent

Location Cardiff

£72,000 per annum

Hays Healthcare is working with The Centre for Health and Disability Assessments, looking for experienced Doctors to join them as Functional Assessors /Disability Assessors.

This is a permanent, full- time job (Monday- Friday, 9am- 5pm). They have sites across the South West and Wales.

The Centre for Health and Disability is a MAXIMUS company, currently working in conjunction with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). MAXIMUS are a global organisation with expertise in delivering national healthcare programmes. As a Functional Assessor, you will conduct file- work as well as face- to- face assessments. File- work consists of reviewing medical evidence in a written or electronic format in order to determine the suitability of a face- to- face assessment. A face- to- face assessment will focus on how the service- users everyday life is affected in performing work- related activities.

You will receive:

You will be a qualified Doctor, with at least 2 year's post- registration experience and a current GMC registration.
