Our client, an industry-leading academic publisher that develops digital products and services to a broad range of markets, is recruiting a Product Manager to take full responsibility for three flagship online library products. This role has arisen to help drive and support the continuous global demand for both products and services developed by this organisation.

Responsibilities of the Product Manager include:

• Managing three different products at various points in their lifecycle
• Developing and utilising market knowledge to enhance the product offering
• Working closely with marketing, sales and customers to develop new propositions
• Identifying market needs and executing high quality business plans in response
• Analysing data and drawing commercial insights to assist in new product development
• Being the face and voice of the product across the organisation

The successful applicant will be educated to degree level (2:1 minimum) and have previous experience of managing a portfolio of online products. Essential additional requirements include project management experience, well developed planning and organisational abilities and strong communication skills. The ability to analyse data and draw commercial insights from it is key. There is some travel in the role (both UK and overseas) so a degree of flexibility is needed.
