About the role

We are looking for a motivated and driven individual with experience of leading a sales team to join our expanding Sales Department. We are looking for someone who can inspire a team of Sales Advisors’ to make the most of every opportunity, drive productivity and maintain a fun and upbeat environment where everybody feels supported and valued.

Other responsibilities will include:

Supporting your team, to be present and let them know that you are both approachable and there to help them with anything they need

Setting challenging sales targets and providing your team the support they need to achieve them

Developing scripting and sales campaigns in order for your team to achieve maximum revenue

Measuring, managing and driving productivity amongst the sales team

Conducting regular formal and informal coaching sessions and team briefings, motivating your team and maximising sales

Being the first port of call for HR related issues including attendance, disciplinary, and capability

Ad hoc duties such as managing call queues, resolving escalated customer calls and producing departmental reports

Providing regular feedback to management regarding customer experience and feedback

About you

The successful individual will need to have experience of leading, motivating and inspiring a telesales team of 10+ FTE. We are looking for someone who will bring enthusiasm, positivity and team spirit to a buzzy team of Sales Advisors’.

You will need to be personable, friendly, and above all enjoy helping people reach their full potential within a busy and challenging environment.

You will also need:

A competitive edge, to want to work with your team to be the best in the Sales Department

Great organisational skills, able to organise both your own workload as well as delegating work to your team

To lead by example, able to demonstrate current and effective sales techniques while demonstrating best practice

To be a strong communicator and great team player

To be able to take on unplanned work at short notice
