My client is one of the fastest growing energy consultancies in the North East. They have been established for over 5 years and are enjoying year on year growth. They strive to be the most respected partner in the energy consultancy sector by supporting their customers in achieving their energy related goals and objectives.

Due to expansion, they are now looking to add a permanent Business Account Manager to their successful team based in Newcastle City Centre. This is a B2B sales opportunity with fantastic earning potential so you must be money motivated to be considered.

Role responsibilities:
• To secure new business through outbound B2B cold calling
• This is a new business development role that will develop into an account management role once you have built up your portfolio of clients
• Managing the full 360 sales life-cycle from initial prospect, negotiating, consulting, closing and account managing
• To achieve personal sales and performance targets and contribute to overall company sales targets and objectives
• Ensure sales are maximised and sales opportunities are identified, particularly in relation to up-sell opportunities
• Have a consultative sales approach and represent the business in a professional manner at all times
• Work closely with senior management on new business strategies for future company growth

Essential requirements:
• Minimum of 2 years’ outbound sales and B2B account management experience is essential (1 year in the energy sector desirable)
• Proven track record of exceeding targets by cold calling
• A creative ability, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills to relate to customers at the appropriate level (speaking with MDs, FDs, CEOs etc)
• Computer literate with an analytical mind
• The interpersonal skills necessary to develop business relationships
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to motivate others is essential

For the right candidate my client are offering a fantastic package:
• Competitive base salary between £21k – £24k depending on experience. Salary will be reviewed based on performance and individual targets being hit
