POSITION: Sales Office Team Leader
SALARY: Up to £25,000 per annum plus commission
HOURS: Monday to Friday, shifts between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm – 37.5 hour working week

Our Client has over 100 years’ experience in their industry with a wealth of knowledge and expertise. They have a large existing customer base across their industry and are still growing and looking for new opportunities.

The Position:

This role is to deliver sustainable sales growth and maximize profits through the proactive management of a team of Customer Sales Advisors whilst providing excellence in customer service. In addition, the individual is expected to use the CRM system to track new flooring projects from lead through to sale in a timely and accurate manner.

• Lead and develop the team with responsibility for the sales target and budgeting.
• Develop and implement tactical sales campaigns to drive sales and manage through the CRM system.
• Develop and set the highest professional standards of customer support and measure through effective Key Performance Indicators.
• Carry out in-depth analysis of sales performance and customer activity across brands, with the findings presented in clear reports that can assist in the creation and implementation of important sales initiatives.
• Establish yourself as the key internal interface between the external sales team and all relevant functions in the wider business.
• Track key flooring projects through CRM to ensure successful completion.
• Manage key processes relating to the external and internal sales teams that result in efficient working structures.
• Work closely with all other departments to support the external sales team and internal sales team to over achieve the sales target.

Skills and Experience required to apply:

• Ideally experience in leading a sales team with a track record of successful delivery against targets
• Advanced excel skills are essential
• Proven exceptional performance in a role that demonstrates organisational, planning and analytical skills
• Knowledge of remapping programmes and ability to produce geographical analysis reports
• Good working knowledge of the Dynamics CRM systems
• Attention to detail and the ability to be flexible, decisive and quick-thinking are essential to being successful in this role
• Experience of report writing and presenting analysis findings to stakeholders
• Proven achievement in a sales role and ability to deliver a tailored sales process to achieve sales targets
• Ability to create sales initiatives and drive towards solutions for the business
• A highly self-motivated person who is keen to take ownership and responsibility while having a constant willingness to learn
• Manufacturing/ Construction experience preferable
