BAK LTD & Southern Connections LTD are currently recruiting for a FULL TIME sales assistant to join the team at the O2 store located in York Designer Outlet. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest O2 Franchisees in the UK, supporting the business in delivering fantastic customer services whilst retaining and growing the customer base.

Role Expectations:

• Promote and sell a wide range of products and services to both business and consumer customers.

• Deliver exceptional customer service in-store and promote the key messages from O2.

• Achieve company targets to achieve profitability and growth of the store.

• Be passionate about O2 and the products we sell ensuring product/market place knowledge is up to date.

• To have strong product knowledge and be able to provide recommendation on products and services that matches their requirements.

• To be able to actively demonstrate exciting and new products.

• Directly reporting to the Store Leader.

Store Standards:

• To adhere to all company policies, processes and procedures to ensure full compliance within the store

• To ensure that the company’s operational and presentation standards are maintained on the shop floor and in all staff and back of house areas, particularly within relation to stock control, visual merchandising and hygiene

• To adopt a flexible approach to working hours to enable branch to meet the operational staffing levels required.

• To Identify and promptly feedback to management team on any issues identified in relation to stock, property, staff health and safety.

Personal Standards:

• To act as a role model, living the brand values and setting high standards through own behaviour and actions

• To attend company training events as requested

• To adhere to the company dress code and be presentable at all times.

Sales Objectives:

• To hit individual & support the store monthly sales targets set by your line manager – this also includes hitting sales caveats to unlock bonus opportunities

• To follow the customer excellence framework 100% of the time with your customers

• To deliver additional revenue targets such as; Business referrals, set by your line manager

• To deliver excellent customer service to achieve a minimum standard customer survey text-back

General Issues:

• To actively support, at all times, company policy and best practice regarding property, security

(including processing of sensitive company and customer data) legal and regulatory compliance (including health & safety)

• To ensure where appropriate or necessary, when issues cannot be addressed or resolved, these are escalated to the relevant department or line manager.

• To undertake any other general duties requested by the management team.

Profile & Experience:

• Experience of working in a customer facing role

• At least 6 month, previous sales experience

• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service

• Great communication

• Have the ability to be able to build great rapport with both customers and colleagues

• Genuine interest in the latest technology, software and gadgets

• Be knowledgeable about the current market place and recent product launches.

• Confident in own knowledge and capability when advising customers on products and services

• Will be knowledgeable on ensuring that you are able to advise correctly using great selling skills.

• Problem solver with the ability to think on their feet

• Self-motivated and driven with a determination to succeed
