Finance Policies Specialist, Poole 6 month FTC to start ASAP

Butler Rose is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a high profile International business based in Poole for a Finance Policies Specialist. This key role will review existing policies for finance, drive discussions with senior finance stakeholders on proposed revisions to policy, present proposals to the finance steering group for decisions and next steps.

Working for a highly reputable and industry leading consumer led business this role is a 6 month fixed term contract to start ASAP.

The role:

* Review and understand existing finance policies for consumer and trade.
* Understand system constraints versus policies.
* Propose and document revisions to finance policies.
* Drive discussion on proposed policies with senior finance management.
* Provide regular communications and updates on progress.
* Present proposals to finance steering group for next steps.
* Act as the subject matter expert on finance policies.
* Train and advise on policy to the finance persons working on a project.
* Liaise with the finance lead on policy change requests.
* Manage and input into change requests raised by finance on the admissions project.

* Be a committed team player for Group Finance providing excellent customer service.

The successful candidate will be fully Qualified (or equivalent level) with IFRS revenue knowledge and experience of writing policies and of change control within a project environment. You will also have with first class communication and interpersonal skills combined with a patient and approachable nature. This is a senior level role with exposure to a wide variety of senior stakeholders as such you will need to be able to drive through changes, listen, present and get agreement to your recommendations for policies and procedures.

Candidates must have a flexible approach with the ability to thrive in a fast changing environment.

Candidates should be able to commit to a minimum 6 month contract and have both the energy and commitment to work as a close knit team in ensuring success in this business critical role.
