VP Engineering
Our customer prides itself in being first to market for first class and business class seat configurations. Our configurations and seats are world class and incorporate the latest materials, features and styling.
As part of their expanding range we are looking for a part time or full time patent / IP manager. Ideally you will have had experience with reviewing IP / knowledge disclosures, conducting international searches and be experienced at patent filing.
Key Responsibilities:
Work in collaboration with the programme team to ensure that technology / IP is recorded.
As the UK IP Patent Manager you will be responsible for representing the business into the wider company group contributing to continuous improvement as to how we record and manage our technology portfolio

Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience with capturing IP through templates and data bases.

A knowledge of National and International search engines to quantify IP / Patent relevance

Previous experience of filling patents

Able to manage an active patent portfolio to budget

10 - 15 years experience in patents

Skills. Competencies and personal attributes
Good interpersonal skills, a people person, who helps develop a mindset of identifying and recording IP

Is a natural problem solver, skilled at rigorous analysis with a sound ability to make decisions based on a mixture of analysis, experience and judgement?

Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset and strives to master the technical skills required to do their job.
