Role: Immigration Caseworker (OISC/IAAS Qualified)

Salary: £18,000 to £28,000 p.a depending on qualifications & experience

Location: Bristol

The Role:

As my client’s Immigration Caseworker, you’ll be responsible for working alongside a team of immigration specialists, you will handle different caseloads with minimal supervision. This may include asylum cases, immigration applications, appeals and judicial reviews. This is a challenging role suited to an ambitious Immigration Caseworker with excellent client care and interpersonal skill.

Key Functions:

* Independently managing casework.
* Working with clients and providing advice over the telephone and other mediums.
* Drafting lists of documents, covering letters and general case correspondence with the Home Office and other authorities.
* Preparing appeal applications, grounds of appeal, witness statements with occasional representations in Tribunals.

About You:

So, what skills will you need to succeed?

* OISC qualification Level 1, Level 2 or Level 3.
* 12-month minimum experience of working in the immigration sector.
* Excellent drafting skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* A confident and determined approach.
* A high degree of self-motivation and drive.
* Ability to work to strict deadlines.
* Be organised and methodical in your approach.
* My client would also consider someone with IAAS accreditation.

You should also have a commercial awareness and practical IT skills. It is essential that you have strong ethical standards, fantastic team spirit, but most importantly be humble and passionate about the work carried out.
