We are recruiting for an IT Technician

Responsible for the smooth running of computer systems and ensuring clients get maximum benefit from them.

Key Responsibilities/Purpose of Job

IT Support
Ownership of IT support
Oversee All Support Task
Service Improvement / Efficiency of Delivery
Diverts/Out of Hours phone transfers
New Starters / Leavers / Change of Role (Accounts /Equipment)
Manage effectively the resolution of support issues that are reported in an efficient manner.
Logging incoming communication, taking ownership of, and working pro-actively to support queries.
Installing, configuring and supporting computer hardware, operating systems and applications.
Coordinating tests and troubleshooting to resolve technical faults, and where necessary providing training and advice.
Communicate progress in a professional non-jaragon way.
Assist in the Provision of cost effective computing and communications
Provide timely and accurate management information from existing systems as required.

Candidate Profile

Excellent attitude, great phone etiquette and personality.
Ability to rapidly establish a good working relationship with customers and other professionals.
Ability to demonstrate clear and confident communication skills both written and verbal.
Ability to deal with problems and technical issues in a friendly, calm and reassuring manner.
Passion for IT and technology with an enthusiastic, methodical approach to problem solving.
Tenacity and dedication to pursue an issue from beginning to end, with the initiative and reliability to work unsupervised.
Self-motivated with an ability to multi-task, prioritise and escalate according.

Background & Skills

Previous experience of IT support – minimum 2 years’ experience, ideally MCSA Qualified.
Ability to produce clear, concise and accurate documentation and job notes.
Troubleshooting experience with Microsoft Windows and Office.
