As an established recruitment partner of c. 16 years to this global organisation that delivers services to the financial services and public sector we have been asked to assist in the recruitment of a Solutions Architect to join the company's technology department in the Norwich offices.

This highly respected company is seeking a Solutions Architect with a solid track record in a variety of disciplines, ranging from Solution Design and Systems Integration through to the full engagement of pre-sales and bid-work. The successful candidate will have a proven ability to project manage, utilising their technical background within the digital space as well as a working understand of the TOGAF framework.

Essential demonstrable experience / understanding of:
* Solution architecture / design
* Pre-sales and bid work
* Working with offshore teams
* Managing relationships (client, stakeholders, team members, suppliers)
* Effective communication
* Service oriented architecture
* Systems integration
* Appreciation of a wide range of technologies including Microsoft, Java and Open Source
* Working with infrastructure teams to determine appropriate environments including Windows, Linux, Virtualisation, Networking and storage
* Data processing / rules engines

Desirable experience / understanding of:
* Batch and real time CCM solutions
* Document composition
* Deploying solutions to both physical and virtual server environments
* Designing solutions for scalability
* Agile development
* Solution deployment through continuous integration and automated deployment
* Best practices in related disciplines such as Development and Testing
* NoSQL and Open / Linked Data solutions
* The design and delivery of COTS software products
* IT consultancy
* Workshop facilitation
* Enterprise architecture (TOGAF)

There will be some requirement to travel to other client locations (which may include over-night stays). This will not be excessive, but will be expensed
