Position: Senior Support Analyst 
Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire 
Contract type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 35 hours per week 
Salary: £38,473 - £42,747 plus benefits

About the Role: 

As a Senior Support Analyst you will perform an important role within the Royal Society of Chemistry`s Service Support and IT Operations teams, responsible for providing high quality technical support and implementation for all corporate desktop systems and business systems support, via our service desk. 

About You: 

A computing degree or equivalent experience is essential, as is good knowledge of IT corporate infrastructure (hardware, databases, client devices, operating systems, active directory services, importance of systems redundancy etc.) used within a corporate IT environment. You will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and be able to explain technical concepts equally to customers with a level of technical understanding and those without. 

Additionally you will have a good understanding of IT Service Management best practice, such as ITIL and SDI and will have ITIL Incident and problem management experience. Experience working in a DevOps environment and of using project management methodologies such as agile would be an advantage. 

You may have experience of the following: Senior Support Analyst, IT Support Analyst, Support Analyst, Technical Support, System Administrator, Systems Analyst, IT Support Engineer, Charity, Charities, Third Sector, NFP, Not for Profit etc.
