We have also won the Cashback site of the year for 2016 & 2017. Due to this expansion, we are looking to expand our IT teams based in our Bolton office.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity to work for an internationally expanding, commercial online business. We are looking for 3 Technical/Team Leads to join our growing business in Horwich, Bolton.
You will be responsible for a team of 4-6 developers, ensuring best practice software development, including code management and excellent coding development principles. You will build a 'delivery with high quality' culture that is accountability and results orientated; you will do this by implementing standards and processes within the team to provide a collaborative and inclusive environment.
You will be expected to lead from the front, run daily scrums, code daily, lead projects and mentor the team.
Working alongside our Technical Architect, this is an exciting opportunity to help drive a major re-architecture and re-design for our core online business, being developed within the .Net framework with loads of opportunities for growth and fun.

The Candidate

• You will be at the top of the game in terms of development, have experience in Digital / Online platforms and will offer experience working across and owning the full development life cycle from requirements stage through to support.
• Experience within the E-Commerce or online application space will be beneficial but it is highly important you are a seasoned senior software engineer with hands on technical leadership experience.
• Due to a major migration project currently being worked on, any previous experience with migration from VB to C# would be beneficial.
• Having proven experience of working collaboratively with business representatives in order to deliver the minimum viable product, you may have experience with JS frameworks, Angular, RavenDb, RabbitMq or .Net Core
• You will have proven experience of software development best practices including testable software, continuous integration, design patterns, architectural principles, SCRUM and SOLID design principles.
• You would demonstrate a minimum of 2 years performance management experience and a minimum of 5 years' software development experience.

Essential Qualities

• Expert with ASP.NET MVC / C#
• Experience within a Technical Leadership role
• Agile, TDD and continuous deployment
• Experience of architecture, design and full SDLC
• Demonstrable experience of leading an application software development function; being involved in stages of planning, construction, testing reviews and demonstrations
• Act as an expert source of technology and application knowledge; whilst maintaining an active interest in new application development techniques.
• Collaborate with clients, subject matter experts, product managers, architects and analysts to develop and review requirements and designs
