The Company:

My client is an established training provider who hold a Grade 1 OFSTED report. They are fully established in the training world and have a strong reputation within the industry, mainly due to the quality of staff they have on their team. This role has become available due to expansion as the company are now seeking to expand further. This client provides apprenticeships across many sectors inlcuding Hairdressing, Barbering, Customer Service, Team Leading, etc.

The Role:

We’re seeking to appoint a Generic Tutor / Assessor with experience in delivering apprenticeships up to Level 3 standard, as well as Functional Skills up to Level 2.

Based from an office in Nottingham, you will be required to cover Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Coventry and Sheffield, covering a maximum caseload of 28 learners. When not out visiting learners, you will be required in the office to complete the admin part of the role.

This client works off paper based portfolios only at present and the awarding bodies used are City & Guilds and ILM.

The Candidate:

You must be able to deliver the Business Services suite of qualifications up to Level 3, alongside Functional Skills up to Level 2. It is essential that you hold a driving license and have daily access to your own vehicle.

Qualifications Required:

Essential qualifications:

Assessor Qualification (A1, D32, TAQA, etc.)

Desirable qualifications:

Teaching Qualification (PTLLS, CertEd, etc.)

Verifier Qualification (V1, IQA, etc.)

Salary & Benefits:

Salary is £18,500 - £21,000 per annum depending on experience and qualifications

Excellent holiday entitlement at 32 days (incl. BH's) + your birthday off + early finish on the last Friday of the month
