An established provider who has been in business for over 30 years now, they offer training in a variety of engineering sectors amongst others. A respected name in the industry, this organisation is well respected in the industry for the quality of training being delivered, and pride themselves with excellent client and learner feedback, as well as consistently high timely success rates across their apprenticeships provision.

The Role:

We're looking for a passionate, driven Mechanical Engineering professional to deliver apprenticeship frameworks within the company's centre. The position will involve instructing and assessing Level 2 and 3 Mechanical Engineering qualifications to a caseload of up to 50 learners, split up into classes of 8-10 each.

The role will involve supporting learners throughout their qualification via a variety of assessment methods.

The Candidate:

A strong occupational background in Mechanical Engineering is required for this position, as well as being a qualified Assessor/Trainer with a teaching qualification. Previous experience of Internal Verification would be beneficial but not essential. The successful candidate will have excellent organisational qualities, strong communication skills, and great attention to detail with the ability to work on their own initiative with minimal supervision.

Qualifications Required:

* Assessor award (A1, TAQA, D32 etc.)
* Teaching qualification (PTLLS, CertEd,7407 etc.)
* Level 3 or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering
* Level 2 or equivalent Maths & English qualifications
* Internal Verification qualification (DESIREABLE, NOT ESSENTIAL)

Salary & Benefits:

* £25,000 - £27,000 per annum base salary
