Empowering Learning are recruiting for experienced school administrators to work in a variety of schools from September.

The Role

The role will vary depending in the type of the school but your daily tasks will be varied and interesting.

Many school use the SIMS database and you could be required to use SIMS on a daily basis for items such as:

o Group calling parents for notifications

o Registration inputting both morning and afternoon

o Sending payment reminders to parents

You could also be working within the front office, be dealing with general enquiries from parents, answering the phone in line with school expectations and general admin duties including using Microsoft Word / Excel.

The Person

To be successful in this role, you should have recent previous experience of working within a school using the SIMS database.

You will be educated to GCSE level with a minimum of Grade C in English and Maths.

You will have a telephone good manner and be confident talking to parents and visitors to the school.

You should also be a competent user of Microsoft programmes.
