Business Advisor- Apprenticeship Sales

I am currently recruiting for a Business Advisor for my client, a large Training Provider based in Manchester. My client is looking to bring in Business to engage with employers, learners and partnership organisations to increase the take up of Apprenticeships/Placements and services designed to meet the skills needs of the craft and mechanical sector across Greater Manchester.
Responsibilities

- Develop activity to increase the take up of Apprenticeships
- Proactively carry out sales activity including cold calling, telesales and structured e-marketing campaigns to employers
- Develop appropriate strategies and campaigns that improves and promotes the sector to young people, parents, schools and colleges
- Develop and widen employer participation in the take up and development of craft and mechanical skills, whilst identifying emerging career paths and technologies

- Conduct face-to-face / telephone meetings at all levels with customers with the objective of generating new apprenticeship and placement leads

 
What are we looking for?

- Develop appropriate strategies and campaigns that improves and promotes the image of the engineering and manufacturing sector to young people, parents, schools and colleges
- Develop and widen employer participation whilst identifying emerging career paths and technologies
- Have an understanding of the craft and mechanical sector, and current skills development issues
- Excellent end to end and proven sales skills
- Ability to communicate with businesses at all levels
- Experience of developing and promoting education, training and industry collaboration, preferably in the engineering and manufacturing sector
