Welding and fabrication manager role on offer for an expanding company that has moved to a brand new, state-of-the-art site where you'll be an important part in the growth of the department.

Do you have experience of managing and leading a welding and fabrication operations?

This market leading company specialise in bespoke vehicle solutions for a range of clients across the UK and overseas. Established over 100 years ago they have invested millions into improving their products and service to clients and currently require a Welding and Fabrication Manager to lead their departments.

In this role you will be managing team leaders, welders and operators across several departments to ensure that levels of production, quality and health safety are met. You will be crucial to the success of the business through leading meetings and working closely with other departments to resolve issues with production.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading welding and fabrication departments and will enjoy being hands-on in your management style.

The Role:

*Hands-on management across multiple departments
*Managing supervisors, team Leaders, operators, welders and other staff
*Ensuring that all targets across production/health and safety/quality are met
*Communicating concerns, leading meetings and promoting best practice

The Person:

*Management/Supervisory experience
*Leading welding and fabrication activities
*Hands-on management style
*Attention to detail, quality, good interpersonal skills and an ability to work under pressure
*Experience of working in a small batch or sub-contract manufacturing environment ideally
