The Role:

The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for providing service, maintenance, breakdown and repair work across retail and commercial sites across in and around Cambridge and the surrounding areas.

You’ll be working on various commercial contracts fault finding, testing and some rewire work as well as working with emergency lighting, fire alarms and UPS systems.

There may also be occasions where the successful Engineer is asked to perform general building fabric maintenance whilst on site, which may include (but is not limited to) joinery, plastering, and basic plumbing and building work.

The Ideal Candidate
Essential:

* You’ll be apprentice trained and Level 3 City & Guilds qualified with 17th Edition, and have worked for an FM provider / multi-disciplined building services provider previously and be able to demonstrate maintenance skills outside of electrical maintenance.
* Be able and willing to perform various building maintenance including, basic mechanical, joinery and general fabric work
Desirable:

* Testing & Inspection 2391 / 2394 / 2395, 236 Part 1 & 2, etc..
* Additional building services related trade qualifications
* Additional tickets such as First at Work, IPAF, PASMA, Asbestos Awareness
