Engineering Requirements Analyst, Dorset, £25,000 - £30,000

A global organisation is seeking an Engineering Requirements Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis to work at their site in Dorset.

Working within a high technology environment the Engineering Requirements Analyst will be responsible for requirements capture from both internal and external customers via either face to face or telephone communication. Having gained a thorough understanding of what the customer requires the selected candidate will be responsible for producing accurate technical documentation and specifications detailing the mechanical, electrical and software requirements of the project, and then will work closely with the customer, engineering and project teams to ensure timely delivery.

In order to be considered for this position candidates need to have some knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and a understanding or how they work, or to have a Systems Engineering or Control Systems background. In addition to this candidates need to have some knowledge / experience in any of the following: Requirements capture, producing accurate technical documentation or working closely with customers and internal teams to deliver projects. This will suit a candidate with an analytical mind and due to the nature of the position strong communication skills are a must. It would be advantageous to have worked or have knowledge of machinery.

Other positions with excellent transferrable experience include Systems Engineer, Technical Author, Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Design Engineer, Field Service Engineer or Applications Engineer.
