MECHANICAL MAINTENANCE ENGINEER NEEDED FOR LEADING WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING COMPANY IN EAST ANGLIA TO WORK ON LONG- TERM MRF PROJECT.

TITLE: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer- Waste Management & Recycling

CLIENT: My client has gained an excellent reputation in the Waste Management and recycling industry with extensive experience in the sector. I am now recruiting on their behalf for a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their busy team in a Monday – Friday role at their company MRF.

Package: Up to £42,000 and Pension

Location: Norwich

Previous Job Titles: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Plant Fitter, Maintenance Technician, Service Engineer, or Mechanical Fitter.

ROLE-

The position of Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will see you undertaking repairs, as well as planned preventative maintenance of fixed plant equipment at the company MRF.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for making sure that maintenance arrangements and targets are met as set out.

You will also be carrying out fault finding activities to ensure all issues which arise are dealt with accordingly.

This role will also see you participate with site inspections and safety checks.

You will also be responsible for ensuring Health and Safety legislations are complied to.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED-

Previous experience to the Waste Management / Recycling industry / Industrial or related required.

MUST have experience of working on conveyors.

Experience as a qualified Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Service Engineer / Plant Fitter, ideally time-served and holding a City and Guilds / NVQ qualification.

You will be able to work well as part of a team and independently to your own initiative.

You will also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.

You will have previous welding and fabrication experience.

You may have been a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Plant Fitter, Maintenance Technician, Service Engineer, or Mechanical Fitter.
