A globally successful Automotive company, are looking NOW for an experienced Production Team Leader to join their team, responsible for supervising a team of 20-30 employees within a manufacturing environment.  As a Team Leader you will have come from a fast paced manufacturing environment.  You will be an excellent communicator with a strong ‘can do attitude`.  In return, they offer a salary of c£29K including shift allowance, working a Monday to Friday 3 shift weekly rotational shift pattern, 37.5 hours per week, plus pension, 25 days holiday plus stats etc.

The Team Leader position with involve:

- Ensuring all employees are fully aware of Health & Safety processes and procedures
- Supervise and control the allocated Operational Processes & Personnel to ensure production targets are met.
- Manage Unit in a Cost effective manner and to budget constraints.
- You will drive forward your designated areas and assist in any associated activities in order to effectively meet all key measurable, objectives and targets.
- Perform Shift handover covering all necessary KPIs / aspects of the Unit performance
- Responsible for Manning board at start of shift, and aligning operational heads to meet customer  build plan,
- Ensure all Employees are trained within unit, enabling the part produced and shipped, defect free
- Manage Data Accuracy within Unit, and adherence to quality standards applied
- Monitor / Manage Job Pack adherence, ensuring completion before starting Production
- Ensure timely completion of any Human Resource issues
- Supervise area/s in the absence of the Shift manager
- Attend any training/development courses e.g. NVQ as required to maximise the role

Suitable Candidate:

- Experience Team Leader or Supervisor from a Manufacturing background
- Automotive is desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills is essential
- Experience of managing team sizes of between 20 and 30 staff
- Strong knowledge of H&S processes
