Service Team Leader

£28,000 - £30,000 base + Lots of Overtime (OTE £35,000 - £40,000) + Car + Tools + Training + Pension + Call Out

Locations: Crawley, Guildford, Reading, Aylesbury, Oxford, Milton Keynes, Luton

Service Team leader required for a large Automatic Door company. This role is available due the rate of growth the company are experiencing, they plan to further double in size over the next two years.

To apply for the role you need to live in and around the London/Home Counties. The candidate will ideally come from the Automatic doors, gates or barriers industry. The candidate can be a service engineer wanting to take the next step up or a senior engineer looking to take on more responsibility within an industry leader.

The role is split 50/50 between on and off the tools, you will be the direct report for over 30 engineers. You will be the go to person for technical support with Engineers or to deal with any customer queries.

You will cover the most local region to your home address and travel across the South East when required. You can earn a good overall package with the overtime and vehicle.

The role:

* Installing, servicing, maintaining and repairing automatic and/ or industrial doors.

* Carrying out risk assessment for every site visit to minimise all potential risks.

* Diagnosing and quantifying repairs or upgrades and pricing accordingly.

* Meeting customer expectations on service delivery and professional standards.

* Supporting engineers over the phone or on site with technical queries.

* Managing response time and engineers books.

The candidate:

* Experience in the installation & maintenance of Automatic doors or transferable equipment, product training can be given.

* Good organisational & communication skills

* The ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines

* Driving licence
